I thought this drawing could be in color to enhance it, The original was done using graphite pencils.

This drawing study of hands is a tribute to the masters of drawing, and my interpretation of their works. M. C. Escher's "Drawing Hands", Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam", and J D Hillberry's taped edges "After the Critic". Trompe L'Oeil the skill of deceiving eye is what I am after in most of my work. I attempt to create near perfect photorealistic drawings with subliminal messages within the scenes. This is a secular piece where one subject is influencing the other. I attempted to keep the technique style of each of the artists intact and applying my own style and interpretation into one cohesive piece. This piece was drawn using 2H, HB, and 3B wooden pencils and took 18 hours to complete.
