Sheridan's career was noted for his rapid rise to the rank of Major General during the Civil War. He was one of the first Generals to use "scorched earth" tactics against the South. "Little Phil" was only 5feet 5inches, but he would fight anyone over anything. What's that you said?... Napoleon complex?... No way.
